近日，gmp·冯·格康，玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所在华夏银行总部大厦国际设计竞赛中获胜中标，这将成为gmp继亚洲金融大厦暨亚洲基础设施投资银行总部（2019年）之后在北京设计建造的第二个银行总部项目。项目基地位于北京城市副中心片区运河东大街和紫运中路交汇处，与城市副中心行政办公区、运河商务区在内的多个重点功能区块密切相联。

This marks the second bank headquarters project for gmp in the city, following the successful completion of the Asia Financial Center & AIIB Headquarter in 2019. The new headquarters will be located at the intersection of Yunhe Dong Dajie and Ziyun Zhong Lu in the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (referred to as "Beijing MC" for short). The redesigned plan for the site incorporates a C-shaped pattern that maximizes the use of the available area. It features three rectangular loop-shaped courtyards strategically placed in the south, north, and middle sections of the site. The symmetrical layout along the central axis allows for a flexible and balanced functional arrangement, while also reflecting the professional and dependable image of Huaxia Bank. The central outdoor plaza serves as a designated area for arrivals and drop-offs. Additionally, a suspended structure on the east side connects the north and south areas, creating a grand entrance for the project. On the west side of the site, the design incorporates a friendly interface with the surrounding neighborhood and the public. Raised podium platforms are implemented to connect all the functions surrounding the courtyards, providing ample flexibility for future functional changes.

为了打造与滨水区相得益彰的绿色城市形态，高层建筑的主辅双塔采用了交错式的L型布局。这样的布局使得建筑朝向东南侧，与运河水岸带及六环公园带形成了开阔的城市空间。同时，这种布局也为项目塑造出了广渠路延长线抵达副中心行政办公区的重要形象。

The primary tower and the secondary tower are arranged in a staggered L-shaped design, creating an expansive urban area facing the southeast (specifically, the Canal Waterfront Belt and the Sixth Ring Park Belt). This layout not only promotes the development of an eco-friendly urban district that harmonizes with the waterfront area, but also enhances the project's visual appeal as it connects to the administrative office district of Beijing MC through the extension of Guangqu Lu.

Both towers offer a perfect view of the waterfront. The square column grid modules used in the design allow for easy rectangular floor plans that are efficient and flexible. To ensure that all office areas have a reasonable amount of space, the main tower core has been shifted towards the north. The sides of the towers facing the canal have multi-story-high atriums, which provide excellent viewing space and create impressive reception scenes for important office areas.

This design actively embraces the principles of sustainable development. The inclusion of openable window sashes behind the vertical stone element enhances the comfort of daily office use, while maintaining a sleek and uncluttered appearance on the exterior facade.

The Huaxia Bank project in the southeast corner of Beijing MC Transportation Hub features a unique multi-level green roof system with podium terraces. These green roofs not only enhance the surrounding public green spaces but also serve as an urban viewing platform, adding a new attraction to the city. The office environment is designed to be highly distinctive, with a spatial layout that includes triple courtyards and hierarchical multi-level green spaces. This layout promotes a sustainable and flexible office environment that is easily accessible and beneficial to all.
